How do we start?
Start with a walkthrough, then a licence. An Audit Sprint is optional if you’d like us to review a batch of your plans first.
Step 1: Walkthrough

Audit Sprint
Optional · £3,000Optional, if you’d like us to review a batch of your plans first: a one-off check of up to 20 of your EHCPs. A licence covers review preparation, plan wording checks and delivery records.
- Delivered
- Within 15 working days once the four things below are in place.
- What you get
- For each plan, every Section F finding with its basis, wording only where the evidence supports it, and an amendment document with only the changes your staff accepted. Across the Sprint, the gaps that recur and a 60-minute debrief. We report how many suggestions your SENCOs accepted and rejected. We don’t quote a time saving.
- Your way out
- If we can’t start within 60 days of you signing its order form, you can cancel for a full refund.
- Cost
- £3,000 for up to 20 plans, then £100 for each extra plan. If you sign a licence within 60 days of the Sprint summary, we take what you paid for the Sprint off the licence, up to the first year’s licence fee.
- Before real plans are used
- Four things in place:
- your data processing agreement (DPA), the contract that sets out how we handle your pupils’ data on your instructions, signed by both of us (for you, by someone your organisation has authorised);
- a current Cyber Essentials certificate, held by us;
- our written confirmation that real plans are released for your organisation only;
- and your plans.
Our independent penetration test is booked for January 2027. Until it’s done, we work with up to 3 organisations, each with its data protection officer’s written agreement.
You decide after each step, and nothing becomes a licence until you sign one.
See it on a fictional plan first.
In 30 minutes we’ll show Sendix on a fictional plan and work out which price applies to you.
For a larger trust, or a special school with more than 250 plans. Tell us which plans and how many. Please don’t send pupil information by email. We reply within two working days.
What will the business manager ask?
Who signs?
The organisation that controls your pupils’ data, through someone it has authorised: the academy trust for an academy, the governing body for a maintained school or the proprietor for an independent school. It accepts our terms of service and signs the data processing agreement (DPA) in the Sendix app, and we countersign. The Audit Sprint and the licence each have an order form.
What does a trust pay for, compared with a school?
A trust pools its plans: £50 a plan a year across all its schools, with a minimum of £3,000 and a cap of £9,500 a year. A single school pays £750 for up to 15 plans. If a trust signs, the trust is the customer; if a school signs, the school is.
Do we need the Audit Sprint?
No. It’s optional. You can go straight from the walkthrough to a licence. The Sprint is there if you’d like us to review a batch of up to 20 of your plans first.
Can we cancel, and does it renew?
The walkthrough commits you to nothing. The Audit Sprint is a one-off: if we can’t start within 60 days of you signing its order form, you can cancel for a full refund. In the first year the licence does not renew automatically: we remind you 60 days before it ends, and it renews only if you choose to.
Your price is fixed for the licence term. Licence fees are invoiced annually, or termly if you ask. Clauses 4 and 10 of the terms of service set this out in full.
Is VAT included?
No. Prices exclude VAT, which is added where it applies.
Does the walkthrough cost anything?
No. The 30-minute walkthrough is free, uses a fictional plan, and has nothing to sign.
